The show premiered on February 24, 2017, on TRT 1, and covers the last 13 years (1896-1909) of the reign of the 34th Ottoman Sultan, Abdulhamid II. The series consists of 5 seasons and ended with its 154th episode, which was aired on June 4, 2021, marking the final episode of the series.
The series is about Abdulhamid II’s struggle to preserve the Ottoman Empire and the Caliphate.
