Episode 1 Summary:

In Berlin, the life of 23-year-old Zehra Şimşek, born as the daughter of a conservative Turkish family, is neither predictable nor something anyone on earth could ever imagine! The series tells the incredible story of immigrant Turkish girl Zehra, starting from her impoverished and bigoted family’s home in Berlin and continuing in the mansion of a wealthy family in Istanbul, shrouded in secrets and a horrific crime.

Abandoned on a highway under the pretext of dishonoring her family and with no identity of her own, young Zehra assumes the identity of a girl named Hande who has been missing for seven years as a result of a series of events. Moreover, the mother of the missing girl has been invited to Germany, to the Turkish consulate, and has identified Zehra as her daughter! Overjoyed to have found her daughter, the mother takes Zehra and brings her to Istanbul.

Zehra goes to Istanbul without knowing that she will encounter even bigger troubles. But she has thousands of questions in her mind. How could a mother not recognize her own daughter?
