Uzak Åehrin Masalı is a Turkish drama series that aired on FOX from 12 September to 14 October 2021. Umay Demirkan (Aslıhan Güner) has endured years of psychological and physical abuse from her husband, Affan (Timur Acar), for the sake of their children. Upon discovering that Affan has fathered a child with another woman, Umay decides to leave him. She escapes with her two children to her childhood village, Eskitepe, seeking refuge with her estranged sister, Sonay (Begüm Birgören).
Meanwhile, KürÅat EroÄlu (BarıŠKılıƧ), a fugitive with a mysterious past, illegally crosses the border and hides in Sonay’s house to evade the authorities. To conceal his identity, Umay, Sonay, and KürÅat pretend that KürÅat is Sonay’s missing husband. As their lives intertwine, a complex web of secrets, past traumas, and unexpected emotions unfolds in the secluded village.
