Sahtekarlar: Lies, Law, and the Shadows Between Truth and Deception

The 2025 Turkish drama Sahtekarlar (“The Deceivers”) is one of the major new projects, produced by Ay Yapım. It premiered on Now TV on 12 October 2025, airing Sundays at 20:00.

Plot

“Sahtekarlar” revolves around intersecting lives marked by moral ambiguity, secrets, and survival. Asya is a smart, resourceful young woman struggling under difficult life circumstances—she cares for her family, carries debt burdens, and sometimes uses deception to get by.

Ertan is a talented lawyer who works with his father Kadir. They are successful—but not always strictly ethical. The story begins when Ertan (at his father’s insistence) recruits Asya for help in a high-stakes case involving a powerful businessman, Hidayet Kutman. Asya’s skills in deception are leveraged in this world of legal gray zones, putting her squarely in the moral crossfire.

The tagline is “In this story, everyone is a deceiver.” The show promises tension between law, family loyalty, personal survival, and questions of right vs wrong.
