Rüya Gibi: From Salon Chair to Secrets — Beauty, Betrayal, and New Beginnings

Rüya Gibi (“Like a Dream”) is among the most anticipated new Turkish dramas of 2025. Produced by TMC Film, written by Emre Özdür, Hazar Kozice and İdil Ezgi Esen, and directed by Selim Demirdelen, the show premiered on Show TV on December 2, 2025.

Plot

The story centers on Aydan, a hard-working hairdresser from a modest Istanbul neighborhood. A sudden turn of fate lifts her from salon life to the owner’s seat of a luxurious beauty center. But this new world brings complications: her shadow-partner behind the scenes is a mysterious businessman named Emir, whose background and intentions are unknown.

On top of that, Aydan must navigate a reluctant business associate: Çiğdem, a free-spirited woman raised in an orphanage, whose impulsive nature constantly stirs trouble. Meanwhile, a determined police commissioner named Efe, investigating Emir, finds himself entangled with both Çiğdem and the beauty center. As secrets and loyalties collide, Aydan must also contend with her ex-husband Tarık, a talented hairdresser who struggles to accept her sudden rise in status, creating additional conflict in her transformed life.
