Mavera is a Turkish television series produced by ES Film that tells the story of the life and experiences of Ahmed Yesevi in a historical, dramatic, and religious genre. The first episode was released on April 12, 2021, and the series aired on TRT 1. The series stars actors such as Korel Cezayirli, Görkem Sevindik, Tansel Öngel, Hasan Küçükçetin, Sinan Tuzcu, Recep Usta, and Zara. The series was planned to consist of 26 episodes and was filmed in Konya during the summer of 2020. It was intended to be aired during the month of Ramadan in 2021. Directed by Doğan Ümit Karaca, the mini-series concluded with its 26th episode on the night of May 7, 2021.
The show is about Hace Ahmed Yesevi’s struggle after being sent to Baghdad by Yusuf Hemedani.
