Suskunlar is a Turkish TV series that aired on Show TV in 2012. The series is based on a true story of children who were accused of stealing a baklava car in Gaziantep in 1997 and were sentenced in absentia to nine years in prison. It was so popular that it was later remade in the US as Game of Silence, making it the first Turkish drama to be sold to the American market. Suskunlar has been broadcasted in over 30 countries.
Storyline: A successful lawyer’s well-built life is at risk when his old friends from Kuyudibi, Istanbul, come back into his life and threaten to reveal a dark secret from their past.
