“Ateşböceği” (Firefly) is a Turkish television series of the romance and romantic comedy genre, produced by Mia Yapım and premiered on Star TV on June 29, 2017. It was directed by Barış Yöş and starred Seçkin Özdemir and Nilay Deniz in the leading roles. The series concluded with its 17th and final episode on October 25, 2017.
Storyline: Baris is a prosperous and good-looking lawyer who specializes in divorce cases. Despite his achievements, he feels disillusioned about love and convinced that nothing can surprise him anymore. On the other hand, Asli, also known as Firefly, is a lively and bright young woman who works as a taxi driver to support her family. While she may not have the same financial success as Baris, she makes up for it with her intelligence and captivating personality, which endears her to both her friends and herself.
