“Kara Para Aşk” is a Turkish television series that used to air on Wednesday evenings on ATV. The show stars Tuba Büyüküstün, Engin Akyürek, and Erkan Can, and is produced by Kerem Çatay under the banner of Ay Yapım. The series is directed by Ahmet Katıksız and consists of 54 long episodes in Turkish and 164 short international episodes. It first aired on March 12, 2014, and concluded on July 15, 2015, with high viewership ratings. At the time of its airing, it was one of the most popular and widely-watched television dramas.
Storyline: Omar works as a law enforcement officer and experiences intense sorrow following the loss of his fiancee. Sibel, Omar’s betrothed, is discovered dead in a car next to an affluent, older businessman on a cliff. Despite initial shock and allegations of Sibel’s infidelity, Omar begins to suspect foul play in her mysterious death.
